The Driving Social Impact Courseis a prerequisite for individuals with less than 5 years of Trauma-Informed Skills who wish to enroll in our Trauma-Informed Skills Growth Track to join our Trauma-Informed Professional community or be an advisor. This course focuses on developing effective decision-making and communication techniques that prioritize empathy, active listening, and understanding in interactions with individuals who have experienced trauma.


  2. Who needs to take the Course? Individuals with less than 5 years of Trauma-Informed Skills are required to take the Driving Social Impact Course before proceeding to our vetting process. This ensures a foundational understanding of effective communication and trauma-informed decision-making practices before delving into more advanced trauma-informed care concepts.


  3. Can I skip the course if I have 5+ years of work experience and extensive training in Trauma-Informed Care? Yes, if you have at least 5 years of work experience in a relevant field and have undergone extensive training in Trauma-Informed Care, you may skip the course and proceed directly to our application and vetting process. This recognizes your expertise and saves time by focusing on assessing your advanced skills.

Our vetting process consists of a series of questions designed to assess your human-centered decision and communication-making skills within the context of trauma-informed care. These questions aim to evaluate your ability to effectively communicate with individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as your capacity to make informed decisions based on trauma-informed principles. The vetting process helps ensure that participants in the Trauma-Informed Skills Growth Track and SME community possess the necessary skills for advanced training and purposeful networking and community development.
