Designing Your Trauma Responsive Eco-System: A Peer Support Circle


Over 3 weeks embark on an empowering journey with us ,as our own community manager and co-founder, Julie guides you through the essential steps to the creation of a trauma -responsive eco-system. Discover the power of peer support and learn how to design a trauma informed network that supports healing and growth your own personal and professional wellbeing.

This isn't just a training, it's a community-led peer support circle, where we will all (including your guide) will be working reflecting on how we are showing up in our communities and answer the following questions in each session:

Each circle will run from 2:00-3:15pm

Week 1: Embodied Expression (May 7th)

Reflective Questions:

1) Who do I serve?

2) What skills do I have?

3)What sets me apart?

Week 2: Embodied Skills (May 14th)

Reflective Questions

1)When my closest friends and colleagues consider my work in the world, what comes to mind?

2) What are my primary skills?

3) What are my secondary skills?

4) How do I want to be known?

Week 3:Embodied Ecosystems (May 21st)

1) Who are 3-5 people in my social media, professional or personal circle that increases my curiosity or inspires me?

2) What are specific aspects of their work that makes you curious?

3) What words of curiosity would be most authentic to me in my initial contact?

4) What are some activities that would invite building relationships with my contacts?

Key Details:

-Our peer-empowered circle will be limited to 8 people to give us capacity to building relationships with each other.

Circle Format:

-Review Circle Expectations (5)

-Emotional and Somatic Check-Ins (5)

-Review weekly guiding questions (5)

-Question1: quiet reflecion and discussion (10 minutes)

-Questions 2: quiet reflection and discussion (10 minutes)

-Question 3: quiet reflection and discussion (10 minutes)

-Session takeaways

-Next steps

My name is Julie Johnson, M.Ed, E-RYT 200/500. I am the Integrate Co-founder, Director of Communiy Learning and Trauma informed bodyworker. I am excited to walk along side you in this journey as we build the essential skills to building our own trauma responsive eco-system. I will be doing this work alongside you offering my tips as well as giving you insights on where I am growing my own personal and professional skills. Even after 8 years developing and growing communities, I still need to create space for me to ask these questions. Building and re-building a trauma responsive eco-system is a practice in personal and professional development.
